About Craignure Inn

Craignure Inn is a small characteristic hotel providing excellent service, food and accommodation whether you're looking for a longer holiday, full of fun outdoor wildlife activities, or simply a relaxing short break for you and your family, partner or friend. It is operated by the proprietors Alex and Tiina Penman, who will try to meet your every need to guarantee a memorable stay. The Inn has seen in recent years major upgrading and modernisation whilst carefully retaining its character.

The main attractions of the island, Torosay Castle and its gardens, Duart Castle with its Clan Maclean history and the Wings-over-Mull bird conservation centre, are at your doorstep. If you are lucky you might just see dolphins in Craignure Bay and otters just across the road by the rocks on the seashore. The Inn is open all year and prides itself on its friendly staff and warm welcome. It is favoured by locals and visitors alike.

There are three letting rooms, all en-suite, with colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. The bar has a wide range of Malts, fine wines, a large fire for the cooler evenings, outdoor seating and a cosy lounge. There is an extensive bar menu with many wholesome, home cooked offerings using local produce such as Highland Beef, Hebridean Lamb, Mussels, Mull Cheddar and Smoked Trout.

There is regular live entertainment, ranging from local musicians playing jigs and reels, to folk singers, quiz nights, blues singers and many other talented individuals and groups with appearances year-round. We welcome well behaved dogs and provide information on local walks, trips and tours. Bus tours leave from Craignure, making it a great base for those without their own transport.
